Soma.
Soma (carisoprodol) is a prescription muscle relaxer used for the treatment of injuries and other conditions as recommended by your health care provider. It works by actually blocking pain sensations between the brain and the nerves, therefore making it possible for the patient to experience some relief. Never share Soma with other people especially those with a history of drug or alcohol abuse. Some is a drug of addiction and it is not supposed to be taken by people that are very likely to form a habit. Sometimes mild side effects are possible when Soma is taken. The following mild side effects can take place, especially at the beginning of your treatment: headache, upset stomach, dizziness, depression, blurred vision, nausea, insomnia, drowsiness, and vomiting. Your doctor will need to know if you have or had such conditions as seizure disorder, liver disease, or kidney disease, since that may be important in prescribing the lowest efficient dose for you. Withdrawal symptoms are sometimes possible and they can include any of the following ones: seizure, headache, sleep problems, stomach pain, and nausea. Gradual withdrawal is therefore recommended.
